
Creative Europe is currently open for calls within Development Video Games and Immersive Content and Innovative tools and business models.
The MEDIA strand of the Creative Europe programme supports the European audiovisual industries to develop, distribute and promote European works, taking into account today’s digital environment.
The first open call is for Development of Video Games and Immersive Content, where you can apply for up to 200,000 euros for the development/pre-production of a narrative game with international potential. On October 29 at 10:00 a.m. there will be an online session where you can learn more about how to apply and what the evaluation criteria are. The application deadline for Video Game Development and Immersive Content is February 11, 2026.
The second call is for Innovative Tools and Business Models, which aims to support new tools or business models that can assist the industry during the development, production, or distribution phase.
An online session with the DFI will also be planned, but is as of yet unknown date. The call document describes eligibility conditions, evaluation and timeline.
The application deadline for Innovative Tools and Business Models is January 15, 2026.
